boys golf 10th place

Rome High School’s boys golf team capped another successful season by placing 10th at the Class 5A Georgia High School Association State Golf Tournament at Jekyll Island last week.

The team shot a 622 over the two-day event. Creekview won the state title shooting a 568. EJ Oliver led the Wolves with a 148. That score put him in a tie for 18th place overall. He was followed by Sam Smith (155), Bo Bushnell (156), and Olan Greer (163). Sam Masters and Adyn Crabtree also competed for the Wolves.

This marked the second consecutive season the boys golf team has qualified for the state tournament.
